Odeon Star Mount Gambier

A bit rundown but a landmark in the south east, is the fantastic old theatre in Mount Gambier, The Odeon Star Cinema and now Bowling Complex. I must go back at night when the neon is lit up to see what the building looks like, unfortunately I'm usually passing through on my way to Melbourne and only stop off for a break.....

Dianne, this now becomes history in itself, as the bowling pin and Odeon sign were taken down last month (April 2009). The building is being repainted, with the pin being put back up at the side of the building. At this stage the Odeon sign will not be put back...
