About this blog
I produce these small works sometimes as studies for larger works, or just because it is a pleasure to shut out the world and work on an intimate scale. You will find a variety of subject matter as I paint what I feel like! I do really enjoy painting these and do not totally limit my subject matter.
The artworks are painted on Art Boards™ Archival Oil Primed Linen Canvas Panels that have slots for easy hanging. I also use the highest quality oil paints, Vasari, Old Holland, Williamsburg and Roberson.

Mmmmm yummy!
Now I have to ask - did you get to eat it once you finished painting or did Jim sneak it away while you were washing your brushes?
When cakes are about I have to guard them with a big stick, its like no, I haven't finished yet!!!!! Five minutes later, no, not yet...
Desserts and Ice cream are my #1 food group (just kidding), but my motto is "Eat dessert first,life is short". This one looks particulary wummy, although it is the first time I see this variety with the colorful base. A Beauty!
